I express my creativity in many ways by making several books talks on voice thread and on my blog. Also I can makemovies on dvolver. Also taking or drawing pictures are great ways that I can be creative. The internet will play a big part in me being creative. I can blog, make voicethreads, and videos all on the internet. Also I have been expressing my creativity through the internet for a long time. I would change a lot of my postings on the internet if my teacher was going to see it.

Hi, for this post I am writing a book talk about “The Last Olmpian” by Rick Riordan. This book is the fifth and final book in the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series. In this book all the campers from Camp Half-Blood have been preparing for the battle againt Kronos’ army. The battle ground is Manhattan, New York. Thousands of monsters, titans, gods, and demigods march toward Manhattan; where Mount Olympus is. However Percy and about fifty of his courageous friends make a brave attempt to defend Olympus. Unfortunatly the gods will not be helping them. They are off fighting a terrible monster called Typhon. Percy and his friends will succeed or die trying. This is the best book of the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series. All of the previous book have led to this great moment. “The Last Olympian” by Rick Riordan is phenomonal. Make sure you read the whole series in order. 1. “The Lightning Thief” 2. “The Sea of Monsters” 3. “The Titan’s Curse” 4. “The Battle of the Labyrinth” 5. “The Last Olympian” If you enjoyed this series, Rick Riordan has a new book and series coming out. Hi, for this post I am writing a book talk about “The Battle of the Labyrinth” by Rick Riordan. This book is part of the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series. This book is about Percy Jackson. He is entering his sophomore year at “Goode High” a highschool. Unfortunately at his orientation he meets monsters and Rachel Dare. After his fight with the monsters he runs into Annabeth, his best friend. After he tells Annabeth about the monsters, they go to camp Half-Blood. When they arrive they discover that Kronos has an army marching toward them through a huge magic maze, called the Labyrinth. After learning about this horrible news Annabeth, Percy, Tyson, and Grover on a heart pounding, adrenaline rushing adventure through the Labyrinth. This is the fourth book in the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series”. “The Battle of the Labyrinth” is a truly amazing book. This would be a great book for the summer.
Hello. For this post I am writing a book talk about “The Sea of Monsters” by Rick Riordan. This book is part of the “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” series. I thought this book was great.This book uses a lot of Greek Mythology in it. It’s about Percy Jackson a teenager that lives in New York City. He is a demigod, or half human half god. He is the son of Poseiden, the greek god of the sea. Over the summer he goes to a summer camp called camp Half-Blood. There he learns archery; how to fight with swords; and ride on pegasi. In “The Sea of Monsters” Percy goes on a quest to save Grover, his friend, from a huge cyclops; and his friend Grover has the key to save camp Half-Blood from being destroyed. The cyclops lives on an island in the Sea of Monsters, which is extremely hard to reach. This book is amazing. This is a great book for you if you liked the “Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins or the “Alex Rider Series” by Anthony Horowitz. I suggest this book.

In language arts class I am reading “The Giver” as an assignment. This book is about a community that is perfect from some points of views. There are a lot of rules in the community, so I had an assignment to write about the rules. I have to choose a rule with a partner, and make three good reasons and three bad reasons. Then I have to make a video about the reasons my partner and I decieded on. We chose the rules on why people have to be married for three years before recieving a child in the community. He has to fight demons, look for a girl that is on the other side of the world, avoid people trying to kill him, and save the world. Also he is only fifteen years old. Matt and I are related because we are both have to over come challenges that we can not avoid. Even though his challenges risk his life and numerous others. I really liked Matt at the beggining of Necropolis. He was nice, and a very cool person. However at the end of the book I felt he was an amazing character. He was stronger mentally. He was extremely confident, bold, and trust worthy. I think Matt is an awesome character.

I remember planning the trip with my friends; coordinating the days; and telling my friends on monday morning. It was pretty challenging to coordinate the trip, but in the end it worked out perfetly. I remember that day so well. My mom called my name to wake me up. When I awoke I felt the brisk air giving my skin goosebumps and sending a chill down my spine. Everything seemed darker than usual.It read 7:48pm on my alarm clock. I got out of bed to go take a shower and get ready for the exciting day waiting ahead. At 8 o’clock my two of my friends arrived at my house. We left at 8:30pm, and got to the park at 10pm. The first ride we went on was the “Revolution”. It was an ok ride. Next we went to Viper. Viper is a red and white rollercoaster with seven loops. The rollercoaster was amazing , because of the rush of the wind and loops. We went on numerous rollercoasters i.e. Tatsu, Riddler’s Revenge, Superman, Collosus, and Golioth. It was a lot of fun I am glad I went It was fabulous. For this post I am pretending that I’m an author, and that I have a book that is about to be published. I will write the first few paragraphs of this novel. This novel is called Vantage Point . The room was extremely elegant. The room was white with a black marble floor. The table,covered by a white table cloth, had a glowing candle for a center peice. The jazz band was playing on a small stage. People were dancing on the dance floor. It was one of the most exclusive parties, in a hotel, for the rich and the famous. “Hello” Jane greeted me as she walked toward Jack.” So do you like the party? Isn’t it extravagant ?” ” It’s quite nice” I replied. “Hi Jane. Who’s this?” her father said. “Hi daddy this is Detective Jack Spotter. ” Jane answered. “It’s nice to meet you sir” I said politely. “Likewise Detective. I hope you’ll enjoy my speech on funding the war ” Mr.Wilson, Jane’s father, replied. ” We’ll see” I stated… Later Mr.Wilson started his speech on the stage.” There is a lot of controversial talk about the funding of the war. However I have only one thing to say about this matter. I am for funding the - agh!!!” he screamed in pain, and collapsed onto the ground. Everybody was shouting, and trying to leave the building by running toward the exits. Jane ran to her father’s limp body that lay on the ground. I saw the murderer on the second floor, and he saw me. I started sprinting toward the stairs, and when I got to the second floor the gunman was… In this story Vantage Point a millionare, Mr. Wilson, is murdered for extremely serious reasons. This story is shown from five different points of view, from five different characters. You have seen this event from one of the characters’ point of view. In the end all of the characters view of the following event will lead to a shocking conclusion. Who killed Mr. Wilson?
Richards resoutions are to get a career, be a good gaurdian, and to guard Matt. One of his resolutions is to get a job because he was fired for missing too many days at work. So he will try to find an occupation in Yorkshire, England, so it will be closer to where he lives. He want to be a good guardian, because he didn’t have to take care of anybody but himself. However now he has to take care of a fourteen year old boy. He will try to reach his goal by making sure there is food at the apartment, give Matt respect, and taking care of his problems. His last goal is to protect Matt. He has to protect Matt because there are several people that want him dead. So Richard has to protect Matt. He will achieve this by staying out of trouble. These are the Richard’s New Years resolution. Over winter break I went on a 7 day cruise. It was one of the most intersenting trips I have ever been on. I left on a sunday, and when I got to the port it was amazing. When I got out of the car I could smell the wonderful aroma of the sea breeze, there was a humongous ship, and it was 15 stories high. It could hold over 3000 passengers. I could not wait for the lesiure that awaited ahead. The ship I was staying on, for this seven day voyage, was the “Mariner of the Seas”. When I got to my room it had a balcony, and it was a beautiful sight. Every night we went to an elegant dinner, and it was suculant every time. Also every day I went rock climbing, and everytime I tried one that was a little bit harder. However one event was the highlight of the cruise. On the third day the cruise ship stopped at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. There I went jet skiing. It was extraordinary. When I was riding the jet ski I could feel the wind rushing past me as we started speeding faster and faster. Using the waves as ramps for the jet ski. It was the most fantastic vacation ever. This was my favorite outing over winter break. |
